Our Pub: The Old Farmhouse is a stunning Grade II.

Welcome to The Old Farmhouse located in the town of Nailsea, 8 miles South West of Bristol.

About The Old Farmhouse: 17th century former farmhouse. Traditional family pub since 1986.

The Old Farmhouse is located in Nailsea, Somerset, formerly a major glassmaking centre, alongside other important industries including coal mining, tanning, cider making and of course agriculture.

A 17th century former farmhouse, the pub has been a Grade II listed building since 1952 and has been operating as a traditional family pub since 1986. Prior to this, it was known as East End Farm, which was brought at auction in 1945 and used as a dairy farm by a family who resided here until they sold it to a building company in 1984, who subsequently sold it on to Hall & Woodhouse.

Delicious, traditional home cooked pub classics.

We pride ourselves on offering delicious dishes in a comfortable, traditional setting. We have a wide range of menus, which include everything from hand battered Cod and Chips to our tasty Vegetable Tagine, and we ensure that our ingredients are sourced from local businesses where possible.

We are known for our delicious carvery served every Sunday, and we now offer a ‘carvery to your table’. You can eat with us in our bar, old kitchen, carvery and old barn, and also outside in our newly refurbished garden when the weather is nice.

Had the carvery, they were running low on a few vegetables and there were more parties arriving after we left. Food was delicious and I would definitely go again. Not a lot of parking but unfortunately a lot of nailsea is like this

Thought the food was very average. We were seated down the far end which had no atmosphere.
